STACEY, Mr. Aaron, "Punkin" Jr - Age 44, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00a.m. Rev. Chuck Rogers, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, 216 University Dr. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30a.m. Saturday. Mr. Stacey will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8p.m. Friday. Aaron Stacey, Jr., was born March 31, 1963 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Aaron Stacey, Sr. and Ernie "Mae" Stacey Williams. Aaron received his education at Pontiac Northern where he was an active student with college prep courses. Aaron excelled in the classroom and graduated with honors. At age two, "Punkin" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was reading the newspaper. While in middle school, he was promoted from sixth grade to eighth grade. After high school, he attended Oakland Community College. He later worked for Molding Inc. for years. Punkin was a loving and caring person with a good heart nobody was a stranger to him to know him was to love him. He loved to be on the Internet, on the My Space website, he called it work. Aaron Stacey leaves to cherish his memory: four sisters, Teneshia Stacey (niece), Joyce Munson, Glenda Stacey-Williams, Cheryl Stacey and Tameka Stacey all of Pontiac; one brother, Aaron Stacey-Henry of FL; four nieces, Tyisha and Talaya Stacey, Arianna Henry; three nephews, Deonta Stacey, Devonte and Aaron Henry; three aunts, Annie Mae Jones, Christine Frazer, Evelyn Hilliard all of MS; two uncles Cleophia (Annie Ruth) Pendleton, Henry (Laquator) Dinkins; all of IL; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends including special friends: special nieces, Suntoia Stacey; special uncle and aunt, Andrew and Thelma Terry of Troy, MI; Mr. Stacey was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Stacey III. The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital.
