JONES, Mr. Albert "AL" - Age 75, passed away Monday April 27, 2020 at Clarkston Specialty Rehabilitation Center. Family hour 10:30AM Tuesday May 5, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Timothy Lawrence, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Family and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 01:30AM Tuesday. Mr. Jones will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-6PM Monday. Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Charlina Jones; children, Donna Jones, Albert Lamar Jones, Noline (Roderick) Shelton-Lee, Salythia Shelton, Wanda Draper, Derek Washington, Dale Washington and Donya Washington; host of grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; siblings, Linda Jones, Sharon Jones, Winfred (Joyce) Jones and Rev. Roderick (Diane) Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Jones; parents, Albert and Elnora Jones Sr.; siblings, Freddie Swanson, Theodore Swanson, Sandra Wright and Mozell Jackson. At Lawrence E. Beginning on April 10, 2020 at 9:00 am, and continuing through May 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm, all assemblages of more than 10 people in a single indoor shared space and all events of more than 10 people are prohibited in this state. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery. The prohibition on assemblages set forth in this section does not apply to: We do understand that this may pose a challenge to you and your family, but our dedicated staff is here to help guide you towards making the best decisions in memorializing your loved one.
