HOLSEY, Mr. Darron "Wayne" - age 48, passed away, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Family hour 10:30AM Monday February 29, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor James H. Keys Sr., officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Monday. Mr. Hosley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10AM-4PM Sunday. Mr. Darron Dywayne Holsey was born April 16, 1967 in Eudora, Arkansas, the son of Frankie Holsey and Jesse Thomas. Darron accepted Christ in his life at an early age, and later in life he joined New Birth International Church. He graduated from Pontiac Central High School with honors. He was a hard worker and excellent provider for his family. Darron was always a joy to be around. He had a smile worth gold, full of laughter and fun. He enjoyed cooking, playing basketball, working construction and being around family and friends. Mr. Holsey leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Waniqua Holsey, Jalen Hunt, Joshua Marble, Gabriela Marble, Jamarion Kinel and Angel Marble; step-child, Carez Marble; three grandchildren, Cayden Pearson, Cameron Walton and Chalil Walton; parents, Frankie Holsey and Jesse Thomas; sister, Lisa Johnson; three brothers, Larence (Kimberly) Bass, Miker Bass and Billy Lloyd Jr.; six nieces; eight nephews; aunts, Ejetta Smith of Eudora, AK, Sallie Greene of Pontiac, MI, Nancy Hollins of Eudora, AK and Jewel McCall of Eudora, AK; two uncles, Willie Hollins of Eudora, AK and George McCall of Pontiac, MI; and a host of other relatives and special friends: close friend, LaWanda Kitts; special friends, Pamela Marble, Terrill Benton; special brother, Louis Jacobs; special nephew, Adrian McNary. Mr. Holsey was preceded in death by his grandson, De’Ontay Thompson; grandparents, Charlie Holsey and Verland “Cordell” Keith; two sisters, Katrina Holsey and Debbie Ann Holsey.
