Deacon Dave Greenhouse

GREENHOUSE, Deacon Dave - age 74, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at his residence. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday December 3, 2016 at Redeemed Christian Center, 114 S. Genesee St. Bishop Kenneth Anthony, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM Saturday. There wil be no public viewing. Deacon Dave Greenhouse was born April 16, 1942 in Marksville, Louisiana to the late Calvin and Virgie Greenhouse. Deacon Greenhouse was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on May 16, 1942. Deacon Greenhouse was later converted and baptized at the Redeemed Christian Center under the Pastorate of Bishop Kenneth Anthony. Deacon Greenhouse graduated from Bethune High School in Marksville, Louisiana in 1961. He later moved to Pontiac, Michigan in 1963, where he was employed at General Motors Corporation and later retired with forty-four years of dedicated service. Deacon Greenhouse leaves to cherish his memory: beautiful and devoted wife of fifty-five years, Rosemary Greenhouse; five lovely daughters, Angela (Patrick) McKnight, Connie Hooks, Davena (Richard) Alston, Renee Greenhouse, Kia (Gerald) Greenhouse-Allen; nine grandchildren, Nicole Greenhouse, Dave Greenhouse, Rashad Alston, DeAngelo Jackson, Ashley Greenhouse, Rosia McKnight, Reonta (Latalia) McKnight, Bianca Alston, Ashton Greenhouse all of Pontiac, MI; six great grandchildren, Micah Greenhouse, Jayshawn Alston, Jayda Alston, Roman McKnight, Rolley McKnight, D’Angelo Jackson Jr., Emmanuel and Gabriel McKnight all of Pontiac, MI; honorary grandchildren, Sha’Courtney Thomas of Dallas, TX, Breanna Gardner, De’von Bazile, Demetri Bazile, Diamond Bazile all of Pontiac, MI, Deshonee Bush; honorary nephews, Charles Bazile, James Hudson, Dave Bazile; three brothers, Calvin (Deola) Greenhouse, Earl (Audrey) Greenhouse all of Pontiac, MI, Inex (Cheketha) Greenhouse of Marksville, LA; one sister, Claudia Freeman of Pontiac, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including special friends, Ricky Howard, Mike Wiley, Pastor Harold Henderson. Deacon Greenhouse was preceded in death by his mother, Virge Greenhouse; father, Calvin Greenhouse; sister, Carol (Leon) Anderson. The family would like to express a special thanks to nurses.
