STROMAN, Mr. De'Juan Lamar - age 24, passed away, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at McLaren Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30 AM Friday, August 21, 2015, at Grace Apostolic, 390 Osmun Street., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Adrian Adams, Officiating. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Friday. Mr. Stroman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., from 1:00 PM - 8:00PM Thursday. .Dejuan Lemar “Pooder” Stroman was born August 16, 1990, the third child of five, Darnell Stroman, Sr and the late Cynthia Stroman. He entered into eternal rest at 5:55 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, August 12, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. Dejuan was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School. Dejuan accepted Christ as his savior when he was fifteen years old at True Holiness Church. He attended Grace Apostolic Faith Church under the pasturage of Pastor Adrienne Adams where he adored the congregation with testimony song, singing “I won’t Complain” by Paul Jones and “I understand” by Smokie Norful. Dejuan was very talented and loving. He was able to touch many people lives while he shortly graced the earth. Dejuan was thankful for his gift in which he called “Blessed Hands” of being a self taught hairdresser. He also impacted many co-workers and patient lives at Havenwyck Hospital where he worked as a residential care specialist. Dejuan’s family and friends would often compliment him at an early age for his hard work ethic whenever he was asked to lend a helping hand. When he wasn’t working Dejuan enjoyed fishing, cooking, or just hanging out with his family and friends. Mr. Stroman leaves to cherish his memory, father, Darnell Stroman, Sr; siblings, Darnell (Ladonna) Stroman, Jr., of Madison Heights, MI; Erica (Kwaysee) Stroman of Lake, Orion, MI, Eric Stroman and Adrienne Stroman both of Pontiac,MI; nieces, Myshea'Lee Stroman and Mori Lee Stroman both of Madison Heights,MI; Khalil Williams of Lake Orion, MI; seven aunts; seven uncles and a host other numerous relatives and friends. Dejuan lost a huge piece of his heart, his mother, Cynthia Stroman in 1992. Mr. Stroman was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Stroman; maternal grandmother, Pauline Shuford and his paternal grandmother, Eddie Louise Stroman. Dejuan will be forever missed and always remembered.
