Doris Jean Hurner

HURNER, Ms. Doris Jean – age 53, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Regency Nursing Home - Waterford. Family hour 10:30a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at New Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, 124 Prospect Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11: 00 AM. Pastor William Parker, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday. Ms. Hurner will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 12:00 Noon – 6:00 PM Friday. Ms. Hurner leaves to cherish her memory, children, Tranell Hurner and Rashawn Hurner; grandchildren, Llvayah, Deon, Zyaire, Jaleya, Ethaniel and Azaiah; father, Joseph (Brenda) Hurner; fiancee’, Milton Burkett, Jr; siblings, Melanie Hurner, Aretha Stewart, Stephanie (Reggie) Edwards and Tyson Miller; step sister, Nikki Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other numerous relatives and friends. Ms. Hurner was preceded in death by her mother, Lorretta Hurner; grandparents, Flora and Booker Hurner; uncle, Johnnie Hurner and aunt, Gloria White. At Lawrence E. The Executive Order is as follows: Acting under the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and Michigan law, I order the following: 1. Beginning on April 10, 2020 at 9:00 am, and Continuing Until Further Notices. All assemblages of more than 10 people in a single indoor shared space and all events of more than 10 people are prohibited in this state. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery.
