MACK, Elder Steven Emanuel - age 58, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at McLaren Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:00AM Thursday May 26, 2016 at Greater Grace Temple 23500 West Seven Mile Road Detroit, Michigan 48219, with funeral service commencing at 11:00AM. Bishop Charles H. Ellis, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Thursday. Elder Mack will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday. Elder. Steven Emanuel Mack, was born to the Union of Clarence Sr and Stella Mae Mack on September 11, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the youngest of four siblings. He was a product of the Pontiac Public School System and graduated from Pontiac Northern High School in 1975. He furthered his education being a truck driver and was employed at Coca-Cola for some 20 years. He continued to drive trucks at various companies until he retired in 2004. Elder. Mack repented and was baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age, at The New Creation Church of Apostolic Faith, under the leadership of Pastor Lottie Glenn. He being called to the ministry by God labored in the vineyards assisting other pastors and was a part of other organizations throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. He later moved his membership to Greater Grace Temple, under the leadership of Bishop Charles Ellis III, where he served faithfully as an armor bearer to the Pastor, until his untimely heavenly departure. He was the founder of Clarion Call Ministries, where he hosted Prophetic Conferences every year. The hallmarks of Elder Mack’s life were his belief in his commitment to serving God and his devotion to God. Everything he did was centered around living for God. The World will truly miss his looong weekly Wednesday text messages. Leaving to cherish his loving memories, one sister Beth L. Stewart of Dearborn Heights, MI, one brother Clarence Mack Jr of Davenport, Iowa, god brother Dave Mc Kinney of Farmington, MI, a Special daughter Ashley E. Mack, two Aunts; Avis Holmes of Detroit, MI, and Shirley Napoleon of Pontiac, MI, one brother-in-law Archie Sr (Jean) Bell, four nephews; Archie Bell, Richard Bell, Arron Bell & Delorean Clark, all of Pontiac, MI, five nieces; Natalie Rush of Detroit, MI, Nicole Rush, Tasha Rush of Romulus, MI, Danielle Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Channelle (Earl) Clark of Pontiac, MI. He leaves a host of great nieces, nephews, two goddaughters, one godson, many cousins and friends. Elder Steven Mack went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 15, 2016. His parents and sister Debra Bell, preceded him in death.
