COOPER, Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" - age 50, passed away, Sunday, October 23, 2016 at McLaren Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, October 31, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with a Funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Elder Gerard Watkins Sr., Officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 North Belford Road. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Monday. Mrs. Cooper will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Sunday. Jackie accepted Christ at a early age, she rededicated her life to Christ, and was a member of New Life Community Church in Pontiac, Michigan. Jackie was educated in the Pontiac School District, and graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1994. Jackie married the love of her life Roscoe Cooper Sr. on June 27, 2006. Jackie was a very loving person, who loved her childern, grandchildren and her family, she loved cats, candy, pop and her salt. Jackie was a big kid at heart, and boy did she love to dress. Even through her illness Jackie never gave up, she never complained or questioned why me, victory has been won. Mrs. Cooper leaves to cherish his memory: husband, Roscoe "PeeWee" Cooper; children, Clyde Dixon, Jr., Dolores Watkins, Montell Watkins, Tasha Spencer, Cynthia Cooper, Kelly (Keyon) Jackson, Nia (Chris) Hogan, Keonna Cooper, Roscoe Cooper (Rhayshar) , Jr and Jaleesa Cooper; siblings, Sharon Watkins, Majorie Polk, Gerard (Jamie) Watkins of Westerville, OH, Pam (Steward) Daniel, Jr., Kim (Henry) Perryof Lathrup Village, MI and Stephanie (Freddie) Daniel; father, Nathaniel Watkins, Sr.; twenty-four grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Mary Ann Oatis, Irma Wellons, Kathryn Williams and Roseveletta "Plunk" Cooper; brother-in-laws, Roosevelt Cooper, Larry (Diane) Cooper of Grand Rapids, MI and Ricky (Lisa) Cooper of Pontiac, MI and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Ledwell; parents, James Davis and Dolores Watkins; brother, Nathaniel Watkins, Jr; aunt, Majorie Simmons; mother-in-law, Pauline Cooper-Gill and brother-in-law, Ernest Polk.
