QUINCE, Lee Kelly Sr, - Age 72, passed away Monday, February 5, 2007 at St Joseph Mercy Oakland. Family hour 10:30a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Pearsall, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11a.m. Pastor Willie Ginyard officiating. Rev. Terrance Gowdy, Host Pastor. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Quince will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St.,and may be viewed from 12Noon-8p.m. the family we be present from 6-7p.m. Mr. Lee Kelly Quince, Sr., was born February 5, 1935 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie (Josephine) Quince. Mr. Lee Kelly Quince, Sr., accepted Christ at a young age and joined the Church of God In Christ at 383 Nebraska in Pontiac, Michigan where he was raised from childhood. In 1987, he moved his membership to Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership and pastorage of it's Founder, Elder Willie R. Ginyard, Sr., and continued his membership under Elder Willie R. Ginyard, Jr. Lee was active in the Usher Board, Y.P.W.W. and was also the President of the Men's Club. He received his education in Pontiac School System and graduated from Pontiac Central High School. He was employed with General Motors for 36 Years where he retired. He enjoyed Fishing and tinking with motors. Lee united in holy matrimony to Lois Jean Quince on January 26, 1957, and to this union were born Lee Kelly Quince, Jr., and Darryl Evin Quince. He was well known and loved by the Community, Family and Others Mr. Lee Kelly Quince, Sr., leaves to cherish his memory: a wife of 50 Years, Lois Jean Quince; two sons, Lee Jr., and Darryl (Kendra) Quince; four grandchildren, Marcel, Darrius, Kyndal and D.J.; Siblings, E.K. Quince, Rosetta West, Elder Carlton (Ida) Quince, Harvey (Teresa) Quince, Lorraine (Wilbert) Nealy, John Quince, Standford (Neita) Quince, Larry (Beverly) Quince; one sister-in-law, Betty Quince; he will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and other family members and friends including very special ex-daughter-in-law, Judy Quince-Cumbus, that loves him and the family very much. Mr. Lee Kelly Quince, Sr., was preceded in death his parents; one brother, W.J. Quince; two sisters, Josie Mae Quince and Marilyn Warren.
