Pryntha Penny" Hill

HILL, Mrs. Pryntha "Ms. Penny" - Age 71, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at University of Michigan Health System Ann Arbor. Family hour 10:30AM Friday October 1, 2010 at New Mt. Moriah International Church, 313 E. Walton Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Bishop William H. Murphy Jr., officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Friday. Mrs. Hill will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 1-8PM Thursday. Mrs. Pryntha L. Hill was born to the late John and Lucille Crawford-Yarbro on March 27, 1939 in Metropolis, Illinois. Pryntha confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of eight. She loved and served him faithfully until her last breath. She graduated from Metropolis High School In 1958. In 1960, she moved to Pontiac, Michigan, and on September 25, 1976 she married the late Homer Lee Hill. Pryntha worked for the K-Mart Corporation for eighteen years, and for the Beverly Manor Nursing Center from 1980 until its closing. She had a passion for reading her bible, praying, and telling everyone about the goodness of Jesus. She was very loving and kind hearted to all she met. Mrs. Pryntha L. Hill leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Mark Hatcher Sr., Jason Hatcher, Valita Yarbro, Michele Hatcher; seven step-children, Larry (Anna) Hill, Milton (Marilyn) Hill, Mark (Marie) Hill, Elton (Bonita) Hill, Calvin (Tamiko) Hill, Shirley Carter, Doris (Willie) Taylor; eighteen grandchildren; Demetria Grazes, Amanda and Tovita Miller, Alicia, Candance, Nickolas, Danielle and Paris Johnson; Mark Jr., Mark III, Justin, Marquez, Kejuan, Naomi and Hannah Hatcher, Malikya Russel, Dominique Yarbro, Christopher Nevils; three great grandchildren; one niece; five nephews; two special friends, Samekia Humphrey and Claudette Nevils. Mrs. Pryntha L. Hill was preceded in death by her husband; Homer Lee Hill; parents, Lucile and John Yarbro; brothers, James and Jerry Yarbro; sisters, Mary Yarbro and Minnie Fabel; stepsons, Wayne, Willie, Roosevelt, Robert Hill.
