CABBIL, Mr. Robert "Bobby Lee" - Age 66, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. He leaves to cherish his memories, faithful and loving wife, Sheryl Cabbil of 15 years; children, Melissa and Lovell (Stacy) Cabbil; stepchildren, Sabrina Cabil, LaShonda, Anthony and Darnell Louris. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday August 6, 2011 at Door of Faith Christian Church, 511 S. Sanford St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Pastor Earl O. Crump, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday. Mr. Cabbil will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Robert L. Cabbil was born April 11, 1945 in Greensboro, Alabama "Lock 5", the son of the late Willie and Sarah Cabbil. Robert L. Cabbil (known as "Bobby Lee" graduated in 1963 from Sunshine High School. He moved to Pontiac, Michigan in 1964, where he was employed for forty-two years at Pontiac Motors. He later retired in April of 2005. Robert was a dedicated husband to Sheryl Cabbil of fifteen years, and also a great father. He enjoyed playing softball with his teams, Alabama Sluggers, Oak Park Seniors, and riding his Black Cadillac. Anyone who had the pleasure of sharing his life knew he met no strangers. Robert L. Cabbil leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife, Sheryl Cabbil; two children, Melissa K. Cabbil of Huntsville, AL and Lovell (Stacy) Cabbil, Sr. of Arlington, TX; four step children, Lashonda Louris, Anthony Louris, Darnell Louris and Sabrina R. Cabbil; three grandchildren, Erika M. Stovall, Ebony A. Dent and Lovell Cabbil Jr.; sixteen step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; godson, Willis Patton; four sisters, Sarah (Ulysses) Jupiter of Youngsville, LA, Loretta (Henry) Lewis of Tuscaloosa, AL, Lynne (James) Wright of Moundville, AL, and Willette (Andre) Carter of Greensboro, AL; four brothers, Pastor Billy Cabbil of Alabaster, AL, Timothy Cabbil of Greensboro, AL, Edward (Vandolyn) Cabbil of Conely, GA, and Cletis (Barbara) Cabbil of Burleson, TX; mother and father-in-law, James and Mamie Louris; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends. Robert L. Cabbil was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Sarah Cabbil; sister, Brenda McIntyre; great grandson, Elgin J. Scott; sister-in-law, Geraldine Cabbil.
