MCDOUGAL II, Mr. Rommel C. "Mel" - Age 28, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Family hour 10:30a.m. Friday, August 21, 2009 at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11a.m. Pastor Douglas P. Jones, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30a.m. Friday. Mr. McDougal, II will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 1 to 8p.m. Thursday. Mr. Rommel Chacon Mc Dougal II was born on April 7, 1981 in Pontiac, Michigan at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, the son of Amanda Tucker and Rommel McDougal I. Rommel was avid shopper and traveled many places. The most important factor in his life was the love he had for his children and family. He especially loved and adored his mother, Amanda Tucker. He loved football, basketball and boxing. Mr. Rommel Chacon McDougal II leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Buffie Reece-McDougal; son, Rommel Chacon McDougal III; two daughters, RaKay’la McDougal and Morgan McDougal; parents, Amanda (Frederick) Tucker and Rommel C. McDougal I; grandparents, Virginia Barton, Jettie McDougal and Fredericka Tucker; two sisters, LaQuinta Tucker, and Ronnitrea Pilgrim; brother, Keonta "Kinkz" Barton; four nieces, Mariah Barton, Tiara Fortier, Kye Joyner, Cydney Russell; one nephew, Keonta Barton II; five aunts, Joan Barton, Jackie Barton, Jerwonia Fitzgerald, Linda Faye Terry, Mary Trice; six uncles, Michael Barton, Christopher Barton, Brad Reece, Gerald McDougal, Freddie Williams, Jr., Reno McDougal; mother-in-law, Sheila Craft; three sisters-in-law, Camesha Jones, Dematrice Reece, Rayven Reece; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends including special cousin, Michael Jerome Sullivan; godbrothter, Kerry Carroll; godsister, Patricia Whittaker. Mr. McDougal was preceded in death by James McDougal, Fred Cummings, Mary Blanche-Cummings, Percy Pierite, Adine Jones and Claude Barton.
