DELANEY-PAGE, Mrs. Rose M "Tuloo" - Age 46, passed away Sunday February 3, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Paul Community Lutheran Church, 1133 Joslyn Ave., with funeral servie commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Dietrick Gladden, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, 216 University Dr. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs. Delaney-Page will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 2PM-8PM Friday. Mrs. Delaney-Page leaves to cherish her memory: husband of twenty-eight years James E. Page, Sr; sons, James Page, Jr. and Omar Page; siblings, Cora Delaney of Nashville, TN; Mamie (Mark) Thomas of San Diego, CA; Frances Covington, Theresa (Sharp) Delaney-Fields, Benny Covington, Louise Mitchell, Annie Lawrence, Elizabeth Smith, Maereen Robinson, Diane Smith, Frank Antwine, John Ed Smith, Johney Smith, Solomon Smith, Henry and David Smith; mother-in-law, Lurline Page; brother-in-law, Victor (Jennifer) Page; godparents, Perry (Mary) Taylor and pet dog Chi Chi and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. As evidence of her belief in God, Rose accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Rose was active in the ministries at St. Paul Community Lutheran Church. Rose was an outgoing person. She loved her family and she loved working with people, especially people in need. One of her hobbies was reading her many devotionals. Rose had a heart of gold, caring and sharing with others she came in contact with. She loved her family and friends. Mrs. Delaney-Page worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for twenty-seven years. Her current position was Unit Secretary on 3G. She also volunteered for TFAP distribution for the last three years. Rose was also a member and volunteer for GOD-UC (which is a program that helps at risk youth in the community) since 2009. Mrs. Delaney-Page was preceded in death by her parents, Rosetta Antwine-Delaney and Ned Delaney;siblings, Jesse Warren, John Delaney, Willie Covington and Pearlie Covington and cousins, Willie Antwine and Vernon Smith.
