AMERSON, Mr. Troy S Sr. - age 50, passed away, Friday, July 22, 2016 at St Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30AM Friday August 5, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Pastor James H. Keys Sr., officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, 216 University Drive. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Friday. Mr. Amerson will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Thursday. Mr. Troy Shean “Chico” Amerson was born April 30, 1966 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Willie and Earlene Amerson. He attended school at the Pontiac Central High School and then pursued his automotive certification at O’Tech. Mr. Troy Shean “Chico” Amerson met and married Katina Hadley, Mary Kincaid and later married Beatrice Kemp-Amerson who helped raise five of his six children. Troy was a member of the Waterford Church of Christ. He was employed with many companies but will be remembered for his employment withBelle Tire, and Penzoil Quik Lube. He was a loving husband; father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Troy had many hobbies which included making movies. In his spare time he spent it with his family and friends. Mr. Troy Shean “Chico” Amerson leaves to cherish his memories children, Thelma Jean Wellons, Troy A. Amerson, Shatonya M. Amerson, Shean T. Amerson, Earlene Amerson and Darrius (Sumner) Amerson; Stepfather, Erwin Johnson; sisters, Teresa Amerson and Tonya and best friend (Micheal) Amerson-Hodges; brothers, Jimmy Bullock and Ronald Amerson; nieces, La’Tonya Hodges and Ashlee Geter; great nieces, Micha Hodges and Ma’kyiah James; nephews, Micheal Hodges Jr., Wille J. Amerson; great nephew, Ma’Karie Hodges; aunts, Irene Powell, Perlene French, Sylvia Leonard, Ruby Catlin and Jean Joyce; uncles, Albert Amerson, Bud Puchett, and Gordon Puchett; cousins, Sean Weedon, David Rodgers, Deborah Bilbo, Barbara Rodgers, Kyle Teal, Carl Powell, Katryn Powell, Mary Styles, Anthony Styles, Harold Styles Patrice Amerson and mother-in-law, Fannie B.
