MORGAN, Ms. Yvette Michelle - Age 41, passed Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Sinai Grace Hospital Detroit, Michigan. Family hour 6:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007 with funeral service commencing immediately at 11a.m. Monday, October 1, 2007. Pastor Andrea L. Ellis, officiating. Interment Willow Mount Cemetery, Shelbyville, Tennessee. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 11:00a.m. Monday. Ms. Morgan will lie in State in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 12PM-8PM Sunday. Yvette Michelle Morgan was born to William and Barbara Morgan on December 26, 1965. She was baptized at the age of thirteen at Saint Stephen?s Baptist Church, Pontiac, MI. Yvette graduated from Pontiac Catholic High School in 1983, and was currently attending Oakland Community College, due to graduate in December of 2007. She was also enrolled and completed one year of ministry training. Yvette was currently employed with Johnson Control and previously with Coca Cola. She was an active participant within her church, Faith Church and Christian Ministries, serving faithfully in numerous capacities, such as; Assistant to Pastor Andrea Ellis, Managing the Bookstore, serving in the Accounting Department as well as assisting in the Church Nursery and Hospitality Department. Yvette's lighthearted disposition was shown through her love of travel and being adventurous with such activities as Skydiving, Parasailing, Swimming, and Skiing. However, she loved her family and friends most of all. She always stayed in contact with her family and was also known as a "Daddy's Girl". Her openhearted, generous, and care giving spirit radiated through her actions and her words. Yvette Michelle Morgan leaves to cherish her memory her mother Rev. Dr. Barbara R.
