HARDIE-WITHERSPOON, Mrs. Carolyn A. - Age 71, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour 1:30PM Saturday, May 28, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with the Memorial Service commencing immediately at 2:00PM. Friends and family will gather 1:30PM Saturday at the funeral home. There will be no public visitation. Ms. Hardie-Witherspoon leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Aretha Witherspoon, Danyeil Witherspoon and Olajuwon James; grandchildren, Raqueena Thomas, DayQuan Foster, Christopher Foster and Dymone Arnold; great-grandchildren, Ranyjah Lavine, Daiyanah Foster, Jessy Foster, Skylar Foster and Drieem Davis; siblings Autry Michael and Ronnie Rowls. Ms. Hardie-Witherspoon was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Rowls and Theresa Williams; and sister, Catherine Carpenter.
