RAYFORD, Mr. Dave - age 86, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at his residence. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, April 3, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry Street, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Pastor James H. Keys, Sr., Officiating. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 AM Friday. Mr. Rayford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday. Mr. Rayford leaves to cherish his memory: children, Donald L. Rayford, Diana L. Nelson, David L. Rayford and Duane L. Rayford; nineteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; former spouse, Lee Helen Rayford; siblings, Walter Rayford, Linda Burns and Billy Ray Rayford and a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Deborah Beamon. Mr. Rayford was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and John Rayford; siblings, Ardell Harris, Cathleen Sanders and Herman Cooper. At Lawrence E. The Executive Order is as follows:Acting under the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and Michigan law, I order the following: 1. Beginning on March 17, 2020 at 9:00 am, and continuing through April 5, 2020 at 5:00 pm, all assemblages of more than 50 people in a single indoor shared space and all events of more than 50 people are prohibited in this state. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery.
