DAVENPORT, Deacon Paul Jr.”PeeWee” – age 66, passed away, May 6, 2022 at his residence. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Auburn Avenue., with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Timothy Lawrence, Officiating. Interment Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will gather 10:30AM at the church. Mr. Davenport will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday.. Deacon Davenport leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Emily Denise Clark, Amanda Davenport-Culver, David Davenport, Sheila (Yosef) Gebrekidan and Rosalyn Simmons; host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Deacon Davenport was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Davenport-Simmons and Paul Davenport, Sr; grandparents, Kathaleen Horne-Magee and Cleveland Horne; uncles, Thomas Horne and Israel Horne; aunt, Amanda Bing, Eunice Horne and Sarah Horne.
