GARRETT, Mr. Jaquann Dion “Quann” “JG” – age 29, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at McLaren Hospital Oakland. Family hour 1:30 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with the funeral service commencing immediately at 2:00 PM. Bishop Freddy Jones, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 1:30PM Thursday. Mr. Garrett will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00PM - 6:00PM Wednesday. Mr. Garrett leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Elizabeth Jones; children, Anaeyah and Jaquann Garrett, Jr., Loyalty, Traveyan, Jacion and Jaquvion Garrett; parents, Yvette Wilson and Carey Howard; siblings, Candice, Anthony, Antwain and Carey Fair, Khadija Garrett, Rochard, Malik and Jaqualia Fair, Joshua Gomez, Daslunique Howard, Deameare Cowart, Michael and Jalen Jones, Ciara and DaShawn Howard; grandparents, Verna Fair and Pearl Garrett; mother of his children, Sidney Gardner; adoptive parents, Alberta Jones and other relatives and friends. Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Darrence Jones; grandfather, Edward Fair; aunt, DeVelyn Jones and best friend, Carl Hawkins.
