CARRINGTON, Ms. Lisa D. -age 49, passed away Friday June 19, 2020 at her residence. Family hour 1:30PM Saturday July 11, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with the Memorial Service commencing immediately at 2:00PM. Mr. James Carrington, Officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Saturday. Ms. Carrington will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, from 12Noon-6PM Friday. Ms. Carrington leaves to cherish her memory: children, Cortney Carrington and Morgan Carrington; grandchildren, Branden Carrington and Juliette Johnson; parents, James Carrington Sr. and Linda Carrington; siblings, James "JU JU" (Mumba) Carrington Jr., Darryle Carrington and Kyle Carrington; nieces and nephews, Ashton Gibson, Amber Carrington, Aydin Carrington and Aycen Carrington. Ms. Carrington was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony and Mary Whiting and James and Martha Carrington. At Lawrence E. Therefore, we will adhere to EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 2020-11 issued by our Governor Gretchen Whitmer, regarding assemblages in the wake of the unprecedented health challenge our state and nation is facing. The Executive Order is as follows: Acting under the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and Michigan law, I order the following: 1. Beginning on April 10, 2020 at 9:00 am, and Continuing Until Further Notice. All assemblages of more than 10 people in a single indoor shared space and all events of more than 10 people are prohibited in this state. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery.
