DUSON, Ms. Mary Joyce "Lil Sister"- Age 74, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour 10:00AM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Johnson Memorial Church of God In Christ, 252 Wessen Street, with funeral service commencing at 11:00AM. Pastor Courtney Drew, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00AM Saturday. Ms. Duson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed from 1-8:00PM Friday. Mary Joyce leaves to cherish her memory: three Sisters, JoAnn Gardner of Midlothian, TX, Lula Johnson of Arlington, TX and Sharon (Thomas) Abraham of Atlanta, TX; sister-in-law, Eddie Mae Duson of Bloomfield, MI; nieces, Teressa Jefferson, Tracy (Kenneth) Thomas, Kayla (Dedrick) Smith; nephews, Michael (Shana) Gardner, James Gardner, Kevin (Tasha) Johnson,Brian (Katrina) Johnson, Jermaine (Sonya) Prater and Robert Jr.(Kawaini) Duson Jr.; god-children, Andrea Fowler and Joy Howard; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Mary Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Duson; and brothers William Duson and Robert Duson Sr.
