ODNEAL, Mrs. Mattie Lee "Matt" - age 86, passed away, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, November 6, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Timothy Lawrence, Officiating. Interment. Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry St. Friends and Pallbearers will gather at the funeral home 10:30AM Friday. Mrs. Odneal will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00PM - 6:00PM, Thursday. Mrs. Odneal leaves to cherish her memory, children, Rev. Vernon (Pam) Gordon, James Gordon, Charlie C. Gordon, Larry D. Gordon and Linda L. Kellam; nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including good friend, Mary White. Mrs. Odneal was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Gordon, Sr; husband, Frank Odneal; parents, Millie and Willie Hudson; daughter, Angela Gordon; son, Dennis Odneal; siblings, J W Hudson, Susie Mae Hudson, Edna Earl Nichols, W H Hudson, Tommy Lee Hudson, W C Hudson and Mary Smiley.
