SHORTERS, Ms. Rosaland Ann – age 71, passed away, Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Medical City of Plano. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with Funeral Service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Pastor James H. Keys, Sr., Officiating. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Ms. Shorters will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 8:00 AM to the time of the Service on Saturday. Ms. Shorters leaves to cherish her memory son, Johnathan James Shorters, Sr. of Farmersville, TX; four grandchildren; mother, Rosa Lee Shorters of Ontario, CA; siblings, Barbara (George) Anderson of Ontario, CA, James (Jennifer) Shorters of Michigan and Charles Lewis and other relatives and friends. Ms. Shorters was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Shorters; brother, Michael Shorters.
