JACKSON, Mrs. Annie B. "Mee Mah" - Age 78, passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Family hour Thursday June 28, 2012 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Pastor James H. Keys, Sr., officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Thursday. Mrs. Jackson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday. Mrs. Annie B. “Mee Mah” Jackson was born December 5, 1933 in Lowndes County, Alabama, the daughter of Rosie Lee McCord-Williams and Jimmie Lee Edwards. Mrs. Annie B. Jackson effectionately known as “Mee Mah” was a city of Pontiac resident. She was educated in Alabama Public School system. She accepted Christ at an early age. Annie was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Lenworth R. Miner Sr., and soon began serving on the Usher Board. Annie had unconditional love for family and friends. Mee Mah was a very generous person who enjoyed her “morning coffee” and having “long telephone conversations” with family and friends daily. She had a very vibrant spirit and was very outspoken too all! Annie was very loving and caring to all of her grandchildren. She had a remarkable bond with her children; and a sheltered relationship with both of “her sons.” Annie had a passion for cooking; and would prepare fish especially (Catfish) on every Friday night, while enjoying her time with her family. Mrs. Jackson leaves to cherish her memory: children, Johnnie “JJ” Jackson of Pontiac, MI, Sharon Jackson of Lansing, IL, Rosetta “Rose” Jackson of Pontiac, MI, Robert “Rob” (Chanitia) Jackson Sr. of Pontiac, MI; grandchildren, Dermar Jones, Sonia Tolbert, Deanna Jackson, Jonara Jackson, Morris Jackson, Jessica Jackson, Robert Jackson Jr., Josh Jackson, Brittney Aaron, Charee Jackson, Deja Cody, Nita Cody, Mya Jones, Christian “CJ” Jackson; great grandchildren, Jeandra “GG” Jackson, Tiara “TT” Jackson, Jackobein “Kobe” Jackson, Anthony Tolbert, DeMarkus Tolbert, Jazmine Johnson, and Jordan Timberlake; sister-in-law, Naomi Cloud of Detroit, MI; special son, Calvin Seay; and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends including special friends, Rev. Ruby Mitchell, Ms. Costell, Liz Burkett, Aaron Ganner, Jackie Williams; special goddaughters, Marlene Dillon and Willa Craig. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband Morris "Pee Wee" Jackson; mother, Rosie Lee "Big Mama" Williams; brother, Richard Cloud, Bennie Lee Edwards; special brother-in-law, Clyde Jackson; special friend, Robert “Bob” Williams.
