CAMPBELL, Mr. Clinton A. "Lil Sosa" - age 20, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at William Beaumont Hospital - Royal Oak. Family hour 10:00AM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Greater Bibleway Apostolic Church, 1180 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jaames E. Manns, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Friday. Mr. Campbell will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 1PM-8PM Thursday. Mr. Clinton Andre “Lil Sosa” Campbell was born April 11, 1996 in Pontiac, Michigan. He departed this life December 22, 2016. He was born to the parents of Pamela Jordon-Collins and Larry Campbell. He was raised by his grandparents, Fannie Alexander and Clinton Alexander. Clinton loved music. He started playing the drums when he was just a baby, banging on pots and pans. Clinton was a talented young man. Any song that he heard he instantly knew how to play by ear. He soon started playing the keyboard and the organ at the young age of five. He played in the jazz band, and was in the drumline and marching band. Clinton was offered back to the Lord when he was two months old at Greater Bible Way Temple, under the leadership of Dr. Reba Johnson. He loved church, and he would play the drums, keyboard and organ. He would have the whole church on their feet. His favorite song to play on the organ was, “You are the Living Word,” by Fred Hammond. Clinton loved sports and played football and basketball. He loved to eat and be around his family. Clinton had a kind and gentle soul. He was such a sweetheart. Clinton leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Pamela (Marvin) Jordon-Collins; father, Larry Campbell; grandparents, Clinton and Fannie Alexander, Robert Collins Sr. and Norman Jean Campbell; sisters, Quanita (Damien) Bumpus, Shamika Mabin, Cilwana Davis; brothers, Cleve Lane, Eric Lane, Michael Stephens, Gacoby Walker; four nieces; three nephews; special aunt, Deborah Stephens; spcaial uncle, Bruce Shockley; special godmothers, Annie Ivory and Kenyatta Gilmore; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Clinton was preceded by his great grandmother, Leora Cleggett; grandfather, Marcus Campbell; aunt, Debra Seay; aunts, Gloria Harmon and Sandra Bradford; cousin, Danielle Stephens; and cousin, Nickia McKinney.
