VIGIER-Cage, Ms. Jamila Monet "Jae" - age 21, passed away, Saturday, March 7, 2015. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 299 Bagley Street., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Robert Martin, Officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Saturday. Ms. Vigier-Cage will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from Noon- 8:00 PM Friday. Ms. Jamila Monet “Jae” Vigier-Cage was born July 19, 1993 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Gregory Graves and Jacqueline Vigier. Jamila was a resident of Auburn Hills, Michigan. She was employed with One Source Talent Telecommunications, working as a telemarketer. Jamila was a graduate of Pontiac Academy of Excellence Class of 2011. She was currently attending Wayne State University. She was a loving and caring mother for her son, Josiah Santino Mullen. Jamila was very creative, inspiring, smart and caring. Her hobbies were volleyball, starting a clothing line that she launched with her best friend, Rachel Roberts, writing and music. Jamila will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ms. Vigier-Cage leaves to cherish her memory: son, Josiah Santino Mullen; parents, Jacqueline Vigier and Gregory Graves; siblings, Angelique Cage, Felicia High, Edward Smith, David and Deon Smith, Dwight Willingham, Gabriel Kowalec and Joshua Stimage; grandparents, Diane Ellsworth, Violet Graves, Maurice Woods and Gloria Willingham; special uncle, Benny D. Eloby; and a host of other numerous relatives and friends including her god parents, Kelly and David Rosado; god sister, Lasandria Rosado; god brothers, David Rosado and Dylon Garcia. Ms. Vigier-Cage was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha J. Cage; sister, Theresa Standiford; grandfather, Homer Crawford.
