Susan "Penguin" Magrum

MAGRUM, Mrs. Susan Wilmarth - Age 37, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Magrum leaves to cherish her memory: husband Jeremy Magrum; two daughters, Alex and Carrie Delosreyes; mother, Caroline Malrulowich. Family hour 10AM Saturday August 23, 2008 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Saturday. Mrs. Magrum will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed Susan Wilmarth Magrum was born August 1,1971 in Newport News, Virginia. She was the daughter of Caroline Makulowich and Michael Makulowich. Susan was a resident of Pontiac, Michigan. She was a leader of her crew at the AMC Star Theatres at Great Lakes Crossing, this was a job she truly cherished. Susan loved scrapbooking and stamping, cooking and creating her own recipes, playing and snuggling with the cats DaVinci and Brady. She treasured her mid-day naps and doing her picture puzzles. She loved being on Facebook and talking to all her friends, both old and new. She loved watching movies, listening to music, and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre. Susan’s favorite animal was the penguin. Her Ideal night was a dinner of Penne Rustica, a tall glass of Dr, Pepper, and ice cream for dessert, followed by a game cribbage in bed before falling asleep curled up with her husband. Susan had a glowing infectious spirit, touching the lives of everyone around her. She appreciated the little things in life such as a blooming flower, a kind gesture, holding hands and love notes on her pillow. But more than all these things, Susan loved her family, her cats, her mother, her husband, and most of all, her girls. Susan was and always will be the most beautiful, thoughtful, wonderful, and loving mother, wife, child, and friend. I will miss you my fair maiden, but you will remain in my heart forever. And your sweet prince will forever remain in yours… Mrs. Susan Wilmarth Magrum leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Jeremy Magrum; two daughters, Alexandra (Alex) De Los Reyes of Teaneck, New Jersey, and Carrie (Cookie) De Los Reyes of Teaneck, New Jersey; one step child, Alexander (Alex) Magrum of Farmington Hills, Michigan; Parents, Caroline Makulowich of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and Michael Makulowich of Bisbee, Arizona; one nephew, Braxton Magrum of Temperance, Michigan; one aunt, Nancy MacEslin of Seven Valleys, PA; one uncle, Donald MacEslin of Seven Valleys, PA; mother and father-in-law, Cindi Magrum and Steve Magrum of Temperance, Michigan,; one sister-in-law, Brandy Magrum of Temperance, Michigan; two brother-in-laws, Steve Magrum II of Temperance, Michigan, and Sam Magrum of Temperance, Michigan, and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Aaron De Los Reyes, the Magrum families, the Brown families, Kellie Cuykendall, and all of Susan’s friends from her days at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mrs. Susan Wilmarth Magrum was preceded in death by her beloved cousin, Ann Stearns. The family would like to express special thanks to Glenna Watkins and family, Vanessa Henderson and family, Sheri Reuther, the members of First Baptist Church of Temperance, Michigan, and everyone at AMC Theaters and Value World for their extra love and support during this most difficult time.
